Mon Coeur

Mon Coeur is an open and vulnerable exploration of the heart. It is inspired by Akram Khan’s work ‘Into The Mind of Igor’ (for which the music of this piece was created). It is an exploration of the human condition, a rupture in the mind, a death in the body, and a birth in the soul. Created for Le Monastére’s ‘Cabaret de le Fierté’ 2023.

The Lost Bride

The Lost Bride began in 2020 as a cathartic exploration of the artisits divorce through a series of photographs. It follows the Bride’s journey through grief and explores the loss of identity, that inevitably comes with the end of a relationship, and the search for a new sense of self.

We follow The Lost Bride through a series of photographs as she comes to life, spinning and twisting her way around an aerial hoop held up only by the weights of a small suitcase. To watch her is to feel as though you’ve taken a step in a dream only to find your foot sailing through the concrete, jerking you awake.

Created and performed by Aisling Ní Cheallaigh with music by Alma Kelliher. For all enquiries please use the contact form on the home page.
